Like many dreams reported here, when I initially woke up, I didn’t think it was special. However, there is an unusual concentration of end of world topics in this dream – if it were just random I would expect only one part of it to perhaps have religious connotations and the rest to just be nonsense; also I usually slowly forget scenes from my dreams – now as I write it down hours later I am still remembering scenes I hadn’t originally noted.
The Grocery Store
I was an employee at a grocery store. Unbeknownst to our customers, there were demonic entities trying to sneak into the store and corrupt the food. So, my job was to try to kick out these beings without the customers noticing their existence. The owner of the store (who looked sort of like Obi-Wan Kenobi) and a few other store employees could do magic, though I couldn’t. I never saw them do it, but I knew they had the ability to flip regions of the store into other dimensions.
Thus, I devised this plan for us to trap the demons into aisles and then teleport them out of this world; likewise at night we could teleport the whole store into a different dimension and then bring it back so that demonic entities couldn’t attack at night. I brought this plan to the store owner and he adopted it and we thought we were about to defeat the demonic entities. However, the secondary manager woman (she was white but had black hair and dressed in black) actually worked for the demons and betrayed us: We were closing the store and all of us were leaving. As we walked out, a homeless person in the parking lot somehow alerted me that we were going to be attacked, so I started running back to the store. However, I had no magic and it was too late. With the help of the betrayer, a hoard of demons had entered and taken over the store.
At this point, we had all left the store except a few of us running back. However, the scene shifted and I saw a different scenario in which the demons again took over the store. Now there were a whole bunch of employees – like 50 – originally I would have guessed there were just under ten employees. Despite it being the middle of the day, I saw no customers, and it seemed more like we actually were in a home depot this time. So anyway, somehow the demonic entities had taken over the store. We immediately started running out of the store; however only like a quarter of us got out, the rest somehow were corrupted by the demons, so I had to padlock the doors shut to stop them from running out with us (no doubt also locking innocents inside as well). I could tell there was something wrong with them because they had a skin disease – a red rash covering part of their face – which we thought was contagious. Unfortunately, I noted that I had accidentally let an infected person escape.
Going to Church in Georgia (the Country)
In the dream I was going to church in a large city in the country of Georgia (which is where I currently am traveling). I was sharing a ride with a stranger to their house, which apparently was within walking distance of the church building.
I was very unprepared and disgraceful in the dream. While on the drive, I fell asleep and forgot where I was or where I was going. Moreover, I was ashamed of going to church so claimed I was going to a grocery store. I don’t know if this is relevant, but strangely the city had a very extensive freeway network much like my home in the states, and I had to give instructions to the driver on navigating them (odd since the driver was driving to her own home). So eventually we got to her home, where (embarrassingly) I had to undress and dress into my Church attire in front of them. While I was changing clothes, an azul van pulled up in front of the house and more family members came out. I admitted that I was actually going to church, and they were excited about it and accompanied me there. I don’t remember if we walked the rest of the way or drove, or even what the Church looked like; all I know is that it was large, growing, full of light, and glorious.
As a side note, the geography of the Caucasus area had changed in the dream. A huge bay had basically engulfed Azerbaijan, so we were still in Georgia but at the northern tip of this bay. The bay was beautiful, it seemed like Chicago.
Church in New England
I was somehow teleported to a church service in the states (I think New England). We were in a house Church. My grandparents were there; my grandparents are very religious / intelligent / philosophical – my grandma taught seminary her whole life; however, in some ways they have been deceived by the academic institutions of the world. Anyway, I learned that membership was declining in their Church, and my Grandparents were very worried the Church would entirely collapse because they were sort of carrying the Church but were about to move out. I also remember birthday balloons being there.
In the Church service I learned that my Dad had sold everything and moved to (I think) the Caucasus, purchasing a farm there.
Interpretation
The Caucasus
I believe my Dad in the dream was fleeing to the realm of the new Jerusalem, though I can’t say this literally will be in the Caucasus mountains (since my personal belief is that the new Jerusalem will be in north America). I think this connects to the new and glorious religion which I had found in that same region.
I think the dream might have also been showing literal geological change happening in the area. Here are two relevant scriptures:
Ezekiel 47:8-9 – dead sea will be healed and fish will live in it.
Zechariah 14 – Jerusalem will be captured by enemies. The mount of olives will split and living water will flow out of Jerusalem to the oceans. The saints will flee out of Jerusalem. There will be geological change around Jerusalem. The Lord will send war and plague against his enemies. The millennium commences.
I believe my dream perhaps was showing how the Caucasus region will appear after the living water flows into the Caspian sea, healing it.
Skin Disease
The dream implies that there will be a new disease that affects people’s skin, giving them rashes or something that looks red that can extend to their face.
This is a theme of numerous prophetic dreams from other people. However, this dream from latterrain333 is most notable to me in that it offers some advice: Epsom salts and coconut oil are supposed to help.
Corrupted Food
Firstly, we learn in the dream that magicians seem to be in control of the food industry. They potentially could be doing nefarious stuff with our food (hello oreos and coca cola), thus the necessity of avoiding processed foods and always praying over food (something I need to work on).
However, from the dream we learn an even greater disruption to food comes. I expect this to be manifested in: 1) food given to us is very much poisoned; 2) food shortages.
It’s also interesting that a homeless person was the one who told me what was happening in the grocery store – representing how only the outcasts will know in advanced of what is coming.
Also worth noting that the downfall of the store was surprising – we thought we were about to win, but instead at the last moment lost. This reminds me of a different dream of mine in which the USA was about to defeat Russia but instead lost.
Change of Guard
The dream also shows us a contrast in churches. In the Americas, we see the decline of the old church that my relatives are part of; in Asia, we see the rise of a completely knew and glorious Church. I believe this represents how the old churches will not carry on into the millennium but rather will be replaced by a new thing.
Symbolism
The birthday balloons I believe represent the birth of the manchild described in the book of revelations, thus symbolizing the arising of the new Church.
The azul van also I believe represents the bride of Christ coming to the world, whether we are ready or not. Azul is a color that represents royalty. Latterrain333 also had a dream involving such a van: PROPHETIC WARNING to the Bride of CHRIST. In her dream, a sapphire blue van arrives at her house carrying a family who were going to be her guests. She panics because she is not ready: she had slept in, was not dressed, and had nothing to feed the guests. So, in both of our dreams, the azul van arrives to a house with a family coming out of it, and we both are not ready and changing clothes.
On a personal note, I think this part of the dream represents my own walk: In the dream I acted very disgracefully, just as I have done in my own personal life. Nevertheless, I was able to help guide others to this new church and it was ok in the end, which is what I hope will happen for me. Also, this is my first dream that could partly reference the new Jerusalem, which is interesting seeing I was planning to research the topic today.
