A Cryptic Dream of a Missile

The following dream felt significant, though it still remains a bit mysterious to me:

I was in a line of cabins touching each other in a row taking a test in the great lakes region near Canada. The test was confusing and had multiple parts to it in different rooms, but here is one element I remember: there were other people, and the test would make some people who were enemies become friends, or at least seem like they became friends, and then these “friends” would pretend like they were you.

Anyway, I was told by my brother about a relative of mine who had taken this test. This relative would disappear for a brief moment before becoming other people, and somehow they would receive instructions on who to be when they changed; it was as if they didn’t really have any identity beyond these roles.

Outside these cabins which had tests in them, I saw high up in the clouds what appeared to be a missile just hovering. Somehow, its tip had separated from the body, and the tip was rotating. However, then the tip joined its body and the missile sped away. In the dream, I tried to video the missile but only captured the very end as I glimpsed the missile hurtling behind the clouds through cracks in the clouds. It then looked like the missile exploded, as I saw a brief flash of light. The clouds then started getting even darker, and the darkness spread from where the missile had exploded.

As the dream already took place at dusk when it was dark, this spreading darkness must have been very dark for it to appear darker than the rest of the sky. Overall, this dream had a dark and creepy atmosphere.

Discussion

I think this dream probably symbolizes how people sometimes do things and play roles that are not of their own volition, but instead because these roles are given to them by dark and creepy external influences. This isn’t to say that people are literally NPCs, but rather that there are sometimes hidden dark powers which influence and control people.

I think the missile represented evil government technology doing mysterious things. The missile might have been part of this influence on the mind, though it is hard to say.
