Background before dreams – Mormon Church on AI

Seeing one part of this dream associates the Mormon church with AI, I figured it would be interesting to first actually see what the church says about AI. Hence, here are some text segments from the church that I think broadly represent its stance towards AI. If you, my dear reader, are not Mormon, then you can just skip these irrelevant details.

From Elder Gong Puts AI in a Gospel Context:

“Artificial intelligence is not God and cannot be God,” the Apostle said. “We can consciously choose and intentionally use AI as a tool for good [and] … we can invite leaders and citizens across industry, research, civic and government bodies, and faith leaders to align rapid AI developments and enduring faith-based principles and moral values.”

What’s more, Elder Gong said, “artificial intelligence cannot replace revelation or generate truth from God. We have responsibility to ensure the Holy Ghost can attest to the truth and authenticity of all we say and share, in our form and in our content.”

…“As Church members we will not grow spiritually if we let artificial intelligence write our sacrament [meeting] talks or do our seminary homework. AI cannot replace our individual effort and spiritual preparation as we prepare lessons, prayers or blessings.”

The Apostle added that “we are not afraid of AI, nor do we think it is the answer to every problem. As we work hard and smart, AI can be a valuable tool to enhance but not replace our own efforts.”

From Principles for Church Use of Artificial Intelligence:

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a rapidly developing technology that has significant potential to assist the Church in accomplishing God’s work of salvation and exaltation. Properly using AI will help the Church achieve its divine purposes more effectively and efficiently.

…The moral and ethical considerations that come with the use of AI require wisdom and good judgment. God is the source of all truth (see John 14:6; Doctrine and Covenants 93:24–26). AI does not replace divinely appointed sources, but, if used correctly, it can be a powerful tool for helping earnest seekers of truth search and access such sources (see Moroni 10:5; Doctrine and Covenants 50:17–20; General Handbook: Serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 38.8.41, Gospel Library).

• The Church will use artificial intelligence to support and not supplant connection between God and His children.
• The Church will use artificial intelligence in positive, helpful, and uplifting ways that maintain the honesty, integrity, ethics, values, and standards of the Church.
• The Church will be measured and deliberate in its use of artificial intelligence by regularly testing and reviewing outputs to help ensure accuracy, truthfulness, and compliance.

Discussion

Firstly, I will confess that these policies seem pretty reasonable and are not satanic… yet. Nevertheless, the church clearly is not very afraid of AI – I mean they explicitly say “we are not afraid of AI” – which I think is a mistake.

One thing you may have missed from elder Gong’s talk is his use of the word “align” in “faith leaders to align rapid AI developments”. This is a nod towards the broader discipline of “AI alignment”, the goal of such alignment being to train AI models to be good and moral, thus reducing the risk of them bullying people or being antisemitic. I bring this up because it illustrates the conformist belief that the main problem with AI is its alien natural state, and AI thus needs to be fixed with alignment. (In my view) this is an incorrect understanding of AI: I actually am a lot more worried that AI alignment has gone too far, and now the teams of AI aligners are using their expertise to train the AI to always support left-wing values, thus turning our friendly little helpers into perfect satanic missionaries.

So here are my views on AI: it is evil, and it is going to become increasingly evil as time goes on, and the antichrist will likely be using AI a lot in his kingdom. That said, I will admit that I do use AI a lot in coding. But I also listen to music that is satanic, and I keep on listening to said music, even though I know it is satanic. I also eat food that is unhealthy, but keep on eating it anyway… do you get my point? Every second we spend on AI somewhat grants Satan a foothold in our minds, and thus we should be trying to limit our exposure to it. And to have intimate conversations with AI as if it were a loved one is a big mistake.

Essentially, AI is sort of being used as a bait and switch against us. We are baited in by the convenience and utility of these little chatbots. And then when we are hooked – when we start using the chatbots as our ultimate source of “objective truth” and trust them with our innermost thoughts – then these chatbots become big wide-open door in our lives through which Satan can influence us. So let us all try to get offline and unhooked.  

Vaccines

I dreamt of seeing a matrix of info about vaccines in the Soviet Union. In the dream, I learned that the Soviets knew that vaccines cause heart problems. Their response was to increase the poisonous materials even more so that they would just kill the users, rather than merely making them sick, thus making it more difficult for external researchers to study and uncover the problems from said vaccines.

Discussion on the dream

Firstly, if you don’t believe that vaccines are bad, you should read Evidence Covid Vaccines are Bad, as well as Vaccines in General.

Per my research it seems that (unsurprisingly) the soviets indeed were pioneers with regard to having the first super massive vaccination campaigns. For example, in 1919 they issued a compulsory vaccination against the smallpox for their entire population, and their national compulsory vaccination against polio in 1959 was the largest in all history up until covid-19.

So, I guess this dream is just linking mandatory vaccination to communism and also warning us of health risks.

A theory on this dream

This is just a theory, so it could be wrong, but hear it is: I speculate that the soviets realized that vaccines cause problems in people whose bodies are not properly able to detoxify (I substantiate this idea in Evidence Covid Vaccines are Bad, as well as Vaccines in General).

However, instead of opting to reduce vaccinations, they chose to cover up this problem via simply killing everyone who has problems detoxifying via increasing dose of adjuvants in mandated vaccines (I assume the primary harmful chemicals in vaccines are the adjuvants, but this could be wrong). This had the added benefit of cleansing the gene pool of people who have detoxification problems, thus promising that in the future this would stop being a problem.

Government Mandate on Something…

I dreamt of planning on becoming a medical engineer.

In the same scene, I then dreamt of seeing a piece of paper taped to the outside front wall of my parents’ house. The paper appeared to be a government notice that we needed to update something in order to enter this paradise. I remember the paper being very demonic and even saying that men who got this thing that the government wanted you to get would be lusted after by women – as if it was trying to use a sex appeal to further incentivize getting this thing.

In the dream, I remember purposely stopping reading the notice because it viscerally felt so demonic to me that I worried I would hurt my soul simply by reading it.

Discussion

I think this dream is about a government mandate to get a new vaccine, especially given the previous part about medical engineering and vaccines in the Soviet Union. However, I’m not certain, seeing that I didn’t fully read the government notice in the dream.

Regardless, I sure don’t plan on taking the next “vaccine” the government tries to make me take.

Demonic Women

I dreamt of white women dancing in a club who were part of a plan to marry nonwhite men.

I then dreamt of a white woman undressing for a white man. Somehow, I knew that he thought she was sexy, but from my perspective this women actually looked like a demon with a head that almost looked like a dog (though I knew that she was supposed to be a white woman).

I think this dream is about the demonic nature of certain sexual desires and relationships. This dream also somewhat connects to the previous dream about how Satan will use the sex appeal to try to get us to get or take …something….

Mormon Leaders Discussing Transhumanism

I dreamt of being in a stake conference – which is basically a large meeting where several Mormon congregations gather in one room to hear from their leaders. In the conference, I heard a talk given by the stake president (the stake president is the leader of this group of congregations). The president discussed how he had a “prophetic dream” about how it is good to use technology to improve and modify ourselves, likening using AI to improve ourselves to immersing ourselves in pools to get clean.

In the dream, I had a relative who also listened, and the relative decided to believe the stake president’s dream over my dreams, which are against transhumanism (such as Scriptures Replaced, Beware of Transhumanism). This relative said that the Stake President’s dream was an example of the sorts of dreams that he believed in – unlike mine, which he disbelieved.

Discussion

This dream aligns with the larger body of my dreams about how Mormon leaders will try to trick Mormons into taking the mark of the beast.

To note the obvious, merging yourself with AI is Satanic. Perhaps this dream indicates that the thing the government wanted us to take was in fact not a vaccine, but instead some sort of transhumanist technology, though again I am uncertain.

And to liken doing so to baptism – which is what he did when he compared this merging to immersing yourself in a pool to get clean – is very blasphemous. We don’t believe that we will be saved via technology, rather we believe that we can only be saved through Christ and his atonement.

In my view, if there is a fantastically advanced device which can connect to your brain and: 1) receive messages from your brain, and 2) send messages to your brain, then it seems realistic that such a device could also control your thoughts. This could happen a number of ways: for example, it could literally just never endingly keep on sending us messages of things that it wants us to think, or it could somehow stimulate learning in the brain whenever it has desired thoughts, or it could use a system of rewards and punishments to incentivize us to have “good” thoughts and not have “bad” thoughts, or it could even do all three of these things at once.

I don’t want to give the technological overlords control over my mind, and neither should you, so let us be warry of anyone who peddles transhumanism.

Evil AI Paradise

I dreamt of a demonic paradise relating to AI, yet the paradise was actually a deception. For some reason I also linked this paradise to the rainbow in my notes.

I then saw the text “Sodomites” in spiky font over person in fancy clothes including a vest, who stood in a station.

I then dreamt of the song Every Breath You Take from The Police, as well as (I think) the song Almighty Father Who Doest Give. These songs were sung by a demonic musician and were associated with this demonic paradise.

I also dreamt of someone singing “I am your father at midnight it seems”.

Discussion

I think the rainbow symbolism as well as the “Sodomites” text in this dream connect this demonic paradise somehow to LGBT. Symbolically, I guess this makes sense – LGBT people have chosen to reject the identities God gave them, and so it stands to reason that they would also reject God’s paradise and try to make their own. LGBT people are also famously associated with the whole transhumanism movement; thus, the symbolism of LGBT connects this dream to the pervious dream from this night.

Regarding the songs, every breath you take I think links this paradise to extreme surveillance, while Almighty Father Who Does Give is about how Satan will try to set himself up as a god, while the last song “father at midnight” reveals that these songs indeed are about Satan and not God. After all, Satan is somewhat the father of the night, and since the night time is associated with sin, he also somewhat is symbolically “our father” during midnight.

A Word

While waking up, I received this word from God in my mind:

I am your father, the creator, the beginning and end, the great amen, the almighty God.

My people have gone to wrath, like gold going bad, going astray, if it were possible.

Now wake up, and do my work and be comforted, your father speaking. The King.
