Bride Commits Suicide

Interpretation from 4/4/2025

I had this dream about two months ago, but only in the past few days have I understood the meaning of the dream.

I was in a church and climbed up a spiral staircase into an alcove within the steeple of the church. Inside I found the body of a girl I know who recently got married along with a suicide note. The note read that she had practiced witchcraft, but knew that Jesus was coming, so committed suicide. Her husband came and saw the note as well, and we both started to cry. I remember feeling a true sense of sorrow.

Interpretation:

The girl represents the bride who waits for Jesus to return. The scene describes the situation that many of us are in (including myself): We know Jesus comes, but are still very not ready for his coming. In remaining unprepared, we are committing spiritual suicide. The location is also interesting: her body was located in what represents the most holy place of the Church; so, she was *really* close to getting right with God, but just didn’t make it all the way past the finish line. Because she was inside a holy place, she may have outwardly looked to others like she was ready for Christ. But on the inside she was still practicing witchcraft (and practicing witchcraft in my view can represent all sorts of sins).

Get Prepared!!!

On a personal level, I definitely do not feel ready to face Jesus. I have lived a sinful life, and although I am trying to right the many wrongs now, I worry I won’t be able to and that there isn’t even time left. According to my dreams, great calamities come to the world, and according to the scriptures, only the truly faithful will be sheltered from the coming tribulation. Therefore, there is an uttermost necessity to become a 100% true disciple of Jesus / with no major sins whatsoever and at least some good works. A task I can’t say I have accomplished (though I think I am a lot better than I was a year ago). Though I do spend time in holy places (like the girl in the dream), by praying and reading the scriptures, I still haven’t truly eliminated all sin / witchcraft from my life.

I write this in a slightly unique situation:

I’m in Austria on holiday right now and just missed a train. I saw the train sitting in the station but decided not to run and just kept walking. I still might have made the train because it was sitting in the station for an oddly large amount of time. However, firstly I had trouble figuring out how to cross the tracks to the platform on the other side (there was a tunnel for that, but I didn’t see it, so just climbed over the train tracks like a homeless person lol). Then I had trouble purchasing the ticket because I don’t speak German (but thought I did so didn’t initially change the language to English), and was unable to understand repeated messages from the card reader that I was putting my card in wrong. Therefore, I had to restart buying the ticket after switching the language to English, and by then I had spent so much time fumbling with the ticket machine that I had missed the Train. What’s worse though is I then proceeded to miss the next train as well / I got to the platform at 1:23, and the train left at 1:22. This error again could have been avoided if I had purchased the ticket in advanced, and (more importantly), if I understood the trains system better: To know the right platform, one must understand the final destination of the train; however, my destination is an intermediate destination, and it is still quite difficult for me to determine the location of the final destination from an intermediate location; therefore I lost time deliberating on the question of which platform to board.

Do we see the “train” coming for judgement, but are not running as fast as we can to get to the station representing being in a right place with God? Are we familiar with how “God’s train station” is oriented / know where the tunnels / secret places are? Do we speak the Language of God, which is necessary to buy God’s tickets? Have we bought the tickets in advanced or are procrastinating? When we stand in the proverbial large train station of life with trains going to many different places, do we understand the final destinations of each train well enough to know which train to get on / which choices to make?

Therefore, let us get ready. Getting rid of any addictions in your life is a good start. Being kind, honest, and useful to society is likewise vitally important. We also need to be praying multiple times a day and reading the scriptures at least once a day. Material preparation for disasters also is relevant.

I can’t say I do any of these things very well, so this call is also to myself. The good news is that it doesn’t matter whether you get to the platform an hour early, or only in the last 10 seconds. As long as the train hasn’t left yet, there is still opportunity to get on the train (it’s not over till it’s over). Likewise, for us it is still not too late to get onto God’s train if we haven’t already. Though I know that I myself am extremely late for this train, my hope is that you and I may board in the last few seconds.

Thanks for reading.
