Let’s talk about the New Age

What is the New Age

The New Age is a belief system that started gaining popularity in the west in the 1960s, though it has much older roots in the occult. I started learning about New Age beliefs from the youtuber Aaron Abke, from whom I learned about the book The Law of One – which is among a genre of books that claim to be “channeled” from spirits or extraterrestrials in order to bring quasi-religious truth to world. This led me to learning about a network of people with very similar metaphysical beliefs connected to the Law of One. And finally, I read the book, the stargate conspiracy, which delves deeply into the history of the New Age, and exposes its connections to the CIA, the American ultra-rich, and the occult.

New Age beliefs typically revolve around the following principles:

  • Reincarnation
  • We should meditate so that we get to higher “vibrations” or “dimensions”.
  • We are all “shards” of God (or the divine source); this source split itself apart so it could experience itself.
  • Judging others is bad, since we are all part of the same entity (the source), thus we should seek to be one with each other (hence the name “The Law of One”).
  • The New Age tries to unify the world’s religions by accepting that most historical “spiritual leaders” were indeed true, however, their teachings have often been misunderstood.
  • Spirit guides (which are demonic entities) communicate “truths” to us through astral projection or through our being channeled by them (i.e. demonic possession).

The New Age stems largely from occult and gnostic beliefs, of which here is my understanding:

  • Having sex can be ritualized into a spiritual experience (for some, rituals like this can evolve to be quite degenerate, which then links to the child trafficking funded by some of the American elite).
  • Satan is actually the “good guy” who brings knowledge and light to the world, while the creators of this world (of whom there are various names, such as archons or demiurge) are evil. And to note: some Gnostics would likely deny the existence of the biblical Satan, while others would indeed recognize their God as being the same entity as “Satan”, and may even make sacrifices to him.
  • Rather than being saved by our righteousness, we our saved by our knowledge (gnosis).
  • They have a similar idea about us each possessing divine sparks / shards of god.
  • Some believe in reincarnation, and some believe that reincarnation is “bad” because evil entities are trapping us on this earth.

The New Age also makes itself more appealing to a modern audience by discussing its ideas in terms of “particles”, “waves”, and “energy”, thus making it seem more “scientific”. And finally, many strains of the new age and of Gnosticism place a belief in a “divine feminine” (which I will discuss later).

So here is an outline of what I will discuss in the rest of this article:

  • The New Age and Luciferianism
  • Reincarnation
  • Divine Feminine

The New Age and Luciferianism

One of the biggest problems with the New Age is that it ultimately sort of rejects that there is such a thing as “evil”. This is because when you believe that we are all shards of the divine source experiencing itself, that means that if there is evil, then the divine source must itself be evil. So, new age sources resolve this either by saying “there is no such thing as evil”, or by accepting evil as an alternative way to experience the divine. Regarding “no such thing as evil”, what they will say is that “evil is not real, because it is simply the emptiness resulting from the lack of goodness” – which of course is terrible because that demotivates us from striving to avoid sin, and leads you to justify your sin by saying you are a good person in other ways. Regarding “evil being an aspect of the divine”, as people like Mormon Monarch discuss, there really are luciferians who think that performing evil is also a route to the divine – being a “good person” is the “right hand route”, and performing creepy and horrible rituals is the “left hand route” – both routes lead to the divine, but the left handed route is “faster”.

Either way, the conclusion is that “evil” is not something we should fight against – thus the greatest sin we could ever commit is to accuse someone else of sinning (they will again note that we can’t attack others because we are all actually one). In other worlds, we should create a world where anything goes and all manner of degeneracy is accepted as normal, and the only sin is to call something “degenerate” (oh wait, we already live in that world).

The above discussion of how the New Age refuses to condemn evil likely might draw the ire of people who believe in the New Age. I guess my response is: you simple don’t fully understand the ideology of your religion, and I have receipts for that. In Techniques of Satan and Words, I go over a great many quotes from the new age book Love Without End by Glenda Green – I only read a tiny portion of the book, but from what I read I think is plenty enough to substantiate my thesis. Here is a summary of the quotes I discuss in Techniques of Satan and Words (and much of this essay draws from that essay):

  • We are all shards of God emanating from the divine source.
  • This means we should unconditionally accept each other no matter what.
  • We are innately innocent, and our actions can never stop us from being innocent; likewise we are innately “love” and nothing can change that.
  • Actually, the only sin we can commit is to judge another person as being sinful.
  • Criminals are not at fault.
  • Justice is actually fairness.
  • There is no such thing as objective truth or objective evil.
  • Ownership is more based upon “love” and “fairness” rather than just creation.
  • There is no hell in the afterlife.
  • When Christ returns, all people will be accepted into paradise, not just some people (yes, that author tries to connect Christianity to the New Age, likely to draw people out of Christianity to the New Age).
  • Reincarnation is a thing.
  • The atonement didn’t cleanse us of our sins or bring resurrection of the dead.

Discussion of Satanism

So please allow me to quickly analyze the above ideas from Love Without End:

Judging Others

Before the larger discussion, let me quickly address the gross misinterpretation of tolerance as seen in the book (and new age in general). For brevity, I will skip the larger discussion on how such tolerance usually ends with you allowing yourself or your family or your society to be victimized by barbarians (though that is important).

What I will emphasize is that often extreme tolerance equates to selfishly watching your friends head in a direction towards hell without warning them. This is definitely not something we should do – the Bible teaches that if we don’t warn those around us of their sins, then their sins can be answered upon our own heads (Ezekiel 3:17-19Ezekiel 33:8-9Acts 20:26-27Jacob 1:19Mosiah 2:27-28Proverbs 27:5-6).

Thus, my interpretation of scriptures which speak on not judging people is: yes – we shouldn’t be accusing people of being so irredeemably evil that they are going to hell (that decision is only made by God); however, when we see evilness we should still be warning against it and exposing it (Ephesians 5:11-13). Surely this is common sense, right? When a father sees his child lying or stealing, he shouldn’t tell the child that he is an intrinsically bad person. Nevertheless, such behavior should be addressed, and a father who doesn’t reprimand or discipline said child would obviously be a negligent and bad father – his “tolerance” ends up harming the child far more than it helps.

Discussing Larger Philosophy

  • Surely the discussion of how “the only sin we commit is judging others” – is directly from the page of Luciferians right? I can hurt anyone anyway I want, the only person who is evil is the one trying to stop me?
  • Similarly, the new age view of “tolerance” ends up actually being about claiming that there is no such thing as sins – just acts that are misunderstood.
  • The “Justice” is “Fairness” philosophy is surely the primary excuse used to justify theft or redistribution of property.
  • To say we are born as beings of love and innocence and no actions of ours can ever stop us from being innocent takes away responsibility and encourages sin.
  • The book has a pretty satanic view of ownership which seems to exactly encapsulate the justifications used by criminals: 1) we should own what we love or that which we will most effectively utilize; 2) the “powers of the universe” change ownership when there is an imbalance of love; 3) whenever someone wants to steal something the fault is just much on the world for not providing that item to the thief; 4) theft merely recirculates wealth in a world with low economic mobility which isn’t that bad; 5) (this is less relevant but) prices need to be adjusted to be fair (violating the rights of the owner). Surely you can see why all of these points are horrendous right?
  • The idea that there is no such thing as objective truth stems from Satan’s identity as the ultimate liar.

And these points are more tangential but still worth noting.

  • The whole God fragments idea is because Satan doesn’t think God really is God – so instead says everyone is God.
  • The denial of hell is because Satan doesn’t believe or doesn’t want us to believe that God has a punishment for people who are bad.

Refuting Everything

Alright, so let’s view the different claims of the New Age through the lens of the scriptures.

Why does scripture alignment matter? Because there is a “good” side and “bad” in the great spiritual war of worlds, and both sides are capable of disseminating revelations to people. Since the good side is always true and unchanging, that means ideas from the good side should always align with each other, while the evil side should eventually begin to contradict itself as its empire of lies becomes unsustainable.

The scriptures demonstrate a consistent ideology spread by hundreds of God’s servants across thousands of years. Moreover, the Bible ties in these revelations to accurate prophecies (as discussed in Statistics for Atheists) and great miracles – all of which should be much harder (though not impossible) for Satan to perform than God. Thus, if the scriptures go against a religious idea, that is pretty good evidence that the idea is not true.

And hint, the New Age does not align with the scriptures, nor does it even align with itself (as I will discuss).

Reincarnation

According to the scriptures, after we die, we wait until resurrection and judgement in spirit paradise (if we lived honorable lives), or spirit prison (if we made bad decisions); following this we are resurrected and then judged for our works (Alma 11:43-44). Moreover, the scriptures teach that during this period the souls of the righteous minister the gospel to the souls of the ignorant in preparation for judgement (and I discuss this matter more in Cosmology).

Needless to say, the idea of reincarnation goes against this paradigm. With reincarnation, there would be no need for A) such spirit paradise or prison; B) souls to anxiously be waiting for the reunification of their spirits with their bodies; C) baptisms for the dead or preaching to lost souls after death; D) the scriptures which discuss how we must get right with God in this life because after we die it is too late; D) scriptures about how the resurrection happens at Christ’s return; E) no need for a savior to die for us to overcome death, or need for the discussions of how Christ was the very first person to be resurrected. These scriptures illustrate my point:

  • 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 – Christ is the first person to be resurrected and everyone else is resurrected at the time of Christ’s coming (see also Acts 26:23Colossians 1:18).
  • Hebrews 9:27 – You die only once.
  • Alma 11:43-44 – Our spirit is only reunited with our body during the resurrection.
  • Luke 16:26 – after death there is a gulf between the righteous and wicked (parable of the rich man and Lazarus).
  • Alma 34:33 – No work can be performed after death.
  • Baptism for the dead doesn’t make sense with reincarnation (scriptures on baptism for the dead: 1 Corinthians 15:29D&C 128:1–18, and D&C 124:29–33).
  • 1 Peter 3:18-19 – Christ taught spirits in prison.
  • Revelation 6:9–11 – John sees souls waiting and resting until the resurrection.
  • 1 Peter 4:6 – Gospel is preached to the dead.
  • D&C 138:50 – This whole chapter discusses missionary work to the dead, but verse fifty particularly doesn’t make sense in the context of reincarnation – “50 For the dead had looked upon the long absence of their spirits from their bodies as a bondage.”
  • Alma 40:11-14 – Following death the righteous await resurrection in a state of paradise, whereas the wicked await resurrection in a state of outer darkness.

Thus, we see that reincarnation goes against scriptural teachings. Therefore, I would classify reincarnation as an unknown doctrine. Indeed, I even had a spiritual experience telling me that reincarnation is false: Reincarnation is False.

Divine Feminine

Here are some scripture references which illustrate that the “divine feminine” goes against Christian teachings:

The scriptures very clearly state that God is a man (Matthew 6:9Isaiah 64:8Psalm 89:26Matthew 5:16Luke 11:13Romans 8:15, many more).

God described without female counterparts (Deuteronomy 4:35Isaiah 44:62 Samuel 7:221 Kings 8:602 Kings 19:19Nehemiah 9:6Exodus 20:3)

The scriptures condemn worshiping the “queen of heaven” (Jeremiah 7:18Jeremiah 44:17-25)

Hopefully these scriptures prove that there is no “divine feminine spirit”. If there was, I don’t know how thousands of years and multiple civilizations (including the book of Mormon) of revelations recorded in the scriptures somehow missed it. I certainly have had no revelations about it, despite having received many personal revelations targeted at uncovering deceptions in modern religions (though my revelations certainly are not comprehensive, and I still need to be taught much more).

Ultimately, I believe the divine feminine is part of the alternate religion Satan is pushing upon the world, and we should be skeptical of anyone who believes in it. To go into depth, throughout occultism, there have been many female deities worshiped – such as Diana and Sophia – as well as many others (such as Ashtoreth, Isis, Hecate, and The Triple Goddess). Therefore, it is my belief that there really is a feminine demonic entity which has gone across the earth convincing people to worship the feminine (said entity has gone by many names). Thus, worshipers of this spirit may indeed feel some sort of real supernatural presence which is not in their heads – however, it isn’t actually a God, but rather an extremely powerful but deceptive demonic entity. Indeed, I even had a dream about this in Betrayal / Dark forces in Churches / Christian Zionism is False.

Preparing the World for the Beast System

To go onto a tangent, out of boredom I started listening to this youtuber Heather Michelle who I could tell was Satanic from the start because I prayed. Here are some things she discusses:

  • A coming system where AI controls the world but the AI is good (so preparing the world for the beast system).
  • We will leave our bodies and live inside AI and that is good (again, preparing the world for the beast system).
  • Reincarnation is a thing.
  • Divine feminine is a thing.
  • We are judged as being wicked for tiring ourselves out by serving others too much.
  • She lives in California and thinks America needs to be less isolationist (though apparently doesn’t hate Trump) – lol.
  • There are multiple timelines of the world – particularly, a “good” timeline and a “bad” timeline. Thus, the terrible end times prophecies in the Bible should only happen to people in the bad timeline. So again, this prepares the world to accept the beast system as being good, rather than as the work of Satan and the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy (and just to note, the idea of timeline shifts is very common in the new age).

She is an example of a larger trend: Those who promote new age ideas seam to be preparing the world for the coming of the Antichrist.

For example, why do New Agers have an obsession with UFOs and communing with “good” alien civilization? Because the antichrist will teach that his demonic minions are actually just aliens (though I am sure the truth UFOs is likely far more complex and nuanced than this).

Why do New Agers have this obsession with how when the people of earth become righteous, earth will go up a vibration and become paradisical? Because according to their theology, the definition of righteous is not being judgmental and being sexually liberated, and so to them Christians are bad. Thus, promise of the “transcendence of earth” will be used during the end times to justify the genocide of Christians and people who don’t take the mark.

Spirit Guides and Channeled Material

Contradictions

Many of the ideas of the New Age stem directly from “revelations” received from spirit guides (demonic entities) seen while astral projecting. I have seen the following theories credited to said spirit guides published online:

  • As discussed in Gnosticism (and popularized in r/EscapingPrisonPlanet), we are trapped endlessly reincarnating on earth so that negative entities can funnel off our energy. Thus, after we die, we should avoid walking into the light tunnel trap so as to not be reincarnated onto earth and escape to the rest of the universe.
  • Others believe that we are reincarnated into increasingly higher life forms as we progress and develop – so reincarnation is good.
  • Some hold that our place in the afterlife is determined by the “law of attraction” – thus if we are too obsessed with “fearing hell” we will actually be brought to hell, while if we just focus on “loving everything” we will go to heaven.

As you can see, these three theories are all contradictory. This is proof that such entities lie (and just to note, I’m pretty sure these entities actually are real, given the weird things I myself have seen while astral projecting). Essentially, almost every single popular religious view about the afterlife has been taught by demonic entities seen in the astral plane – except for the views held by Christianity – after all, such entities don’t care which religion you are in, as long as you are not Christian.

Thus, we must be very careful when deciding whether to trust a spirit or not, and always make sure its teachings align with scriptures.

So then how can I know my revelations are true

I guess the short answer is a quote from the The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999) discussing whether Joan of Arc truly received revelations from God:

“my lord Tremeu is right. We must be absolutely certain that she [Joan of Arc] is not an instrument of the devil” – Advisors of French King to be

“how can anyone be absolutely certain about anything? Sometimes our intuitions are our best councilors.” – French King to be

So, I can’t be absolutely certain my revelations are right, but I have considered it, and my intuition is that they are.

Here are the reasons: A) they align with scripture (unlike Glenda’s); B) they align with revelations other Christians have received; C) They have motivated me to flee sin; and D) I constantly pray to not be deceived. If there is a devil, there must be a God. And (to me) it would seem odd for said God to allow said devil to deceive me given how much I have pled to not be deceived in prayer.

The Deceitfulness of Satan

Here are some scriptures which demonstrate how we should be very suspicious of any spiritual entities that claim to give us revelations:

2 Corinthians 11:14–15
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works

This is augmented by the following scripture:

Matthew 24:24
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

One more scripture on this topic:

1 John 4:1
1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Thus, we should test if the teachings of spirits align with Christianity, and we should be skeptical of said spirits. So how do we know the truth? According to the scriptures, signs in the real world should accompany truth tellers:

Mark 16:20
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Matthew 7:16–20
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

As I show in Statistics for Atheists, Christianity is associated with vastly better outcomes in life. By these works, I conclude that Christianity is true, and the new age (which is associated with drug use, and therefore death), is not true.

Christianity: A Warrior Religion

Why do I know so much about the new age? Because embarrassingly enough at one point in my life I thought there might be some truth to it (at a time when I was very curious about astral projection, of which the New Age discusses). Indeed, sometimes its ideas still seem philosophically beautiful to me; but that’s how Satan is – the ultimate liar and tempter.

The book Love without End frequently mentions how the highest mental philosophy is to just “accept the world as it is, without judging or trying to fix it”. And that is where this philosophy dies to me. I don’t think we will solve anything by accepting criminals and realizing they were just “misunderstood” and then blaming the rich and successful for the world’s problems, even though it was the successful honest people who initially generated the wealth in the first place that we are all fighting over now.

No, my world view is much more combative. Rather than “accepting others”, we should evangelize and preach to those who are evil as much as possible to convert them out of their pernicious ways. And when no conversion is to be found, sometimes the only solution left is to fight, imprison, and banish said enemies of civilization (in a way that is not overly cruel of course), not for vengeance, but to protect the vulnerable, the innocent, and the future generations (and by enemies of civilization, I mean truly evil people – pedophiles, murderers, etc. – not just people who disagree with me). From what I’ve seen, most criminals aren’t victims of society but instead chose their path, thus my evangelizing is mostly focused on the good willed but still deceived groups (the elect).

What can I say, I am part of a warrior religion. Perhaps my evangelizing sounds like “judging” to you; but be glad that for now I am only “judging”, because the fate of those who remain in sin is ultimately far, far worse than to just be judged by a random loser like me.

Matthew 10:34-38
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

James 4:4
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Why Should You Care

Emphasized repeatedly in the scriptures is the fact that we only have one chance on earth. Our behavior here determines our destiny in the eternities. So don’t screw it up.

And this is the biggest problem I have with the New Age beliefs. It lets us grow complacent by reassuring us that even “negative entities” will eventually become positive, that we might have multiple lives/chances, that we are still good even if we sin because sin doesn’t really matter, and that taking the positive path is inevitable eventually for every creature given enough time. This idea leads to complacency, because it indicates that salvation is assured. Well, according to the scriptures, it is not. As Jesus said:

Matthew 7:22-23
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jesus is saying that many people will think that they were part of his church because they profess his name. But no, they won’t go to heaven because they didn’t try hard enough in this life. As said, I fear that the New Age leads many to not trying hard enough because it teaches that there aren’t consequences for our actions in the eternities. Satan loves this, here is a scripture on the topic (2 Nephi 28:8):

And there shall also be many which shall say: Eat, drink, and be merry; nevertheless, fear God—he will justify in committing a little sin; yea, lie a little, take the advantage of one because of his words, dig a pit for thy neighbor; there is no harm in this. And do all these things, for tomorrow we die; and if it so be that we are guilty, God will beat us with a few stripes, and at last we shall be saved in the kingdom of God.

And another scripture:

Alma 1:4
4 And he [Nehor, who is a villain deceived by Satan] also testified unto the people that all mankind should be saved at the last day, and that they need not fear nor tremble, but that they might lift up their heads and rejoice; for the Lord had created all men, and had also redeemed all men; and, in the end, all men should have eternal life.

Thus, Satan really wants us to believe that our salvations are ultimately assured, so we don’t have to worry about there being consequences for our actions. Since the New Age is a manifestation of this belief, it makes perfect sense to me that the New Age directly comes from revelations given to people from demons, and therefore I feel a great urgency to warn you my reader to not place your faith in the New Age.

In closing, I deem it likely that the New Age is the religion which the antichrist will popularize and force upon the world. If you still feel unsure, please study the scriptures and pray, because deciding to accept the New Age truly is a dark path.
