Disease, Food Shortage, Adam, and the Stars

Background

Before the dreams, I have a brief spiritual thought from these scriptures:

Luke 12:46-49
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
47 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
49 ¶ I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

So, from verse 46, we see that hyper-grace is false – if you are a Christian, but don’t do the Lord’s will, then it will not be very awesome for you. This doesn’t get rid of grace. Rather, trying to be a follower of Christ is a qualification for grace, and we don’t truly follow the Lord unless we try to conform our actions into His will.

But the more interesting verse is verse 49 “I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?” What does it mean, and why is it left uncertain? Well, lets look at the next chapter:

Luke 13:6-9
6
¶ He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.

Again, another drop of uncertainty: will there be fruit, or will there not be? Luke 18:7-8 is also similar:
7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

So, why is Jesus so vague about the matter of whether there will be fruit, or faith, at the end of the world? Well, quite frankly, because there won’t be fruit. This is apparent when you read the chapter that Jesus is referencing in all of these speeches, Isaiah 5:1-14, in which the Lord’s people are likened to a vineyard. Since his people, the vineyard, do not produce fruit, they are destroyed.

Particularly, Isaiah 5:10 is interesting:
10 Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.

In my view, this verse is telling us how many of the Lord’s people actually become fruit and thus are saved (since verse 7 tells us that the vineyard is the Lord’s people). So, what numerically does this verse mean? From my searches, 1 bath of wine is 6-8 gallons, and per brave AI overview, 10 acres of vineyard typically produces 2,400 to 12,000 gallons of wine. Per google AI overview, this number is closer to 1,500 – 6,000, so I think a good point estimate is 2,500 gallons. Thus, the harvest of wine is 7 / 2500 = 0.28% of what it could be. Wheat is no better: one ephah of wheat is said to be one tenth of one homer of wheat. But, usually the harvest of wheat is 30-100 times what is planted (so point estimate of 50). Thus, the harvest is only .2% of what was expected (one tenth of one fiftieth is .2%).

In my view, the potential harvest is the descendants of the lost tribes of Israel. Why not people from outside these lost tribes? Well, if you read Jacob 5 (from the book of Mormon), the world is likened to a vineyard, where people who accept the gospel are fruit that the Lord lays up, and people who reject it are corrupted fruit to be destroyed. And specifically, this vineyard has one tame tree that represents the Jews, and the rest of the trees are wild, which represent the gentiles. After the tame tree starts producing corrupt fruit, the Lord grafts its natural branches into the wild trees. The root of the wild trees revives these natural branches from the original tree to produce fruit, and then these natural branches even help the wild branches to grow their own good fruit. However, eventually the whole vineyard goes astray, and this is blamed upon the wild branches overpowering the natural branches from the original tree. Thus, the Lord gathers all of the natural branches back to the original tree, and destroys the rest, thus representing the gathering of the saints at the end of the world.

But here is the part to be emphasized: during the middle ages, it was indeed true that people not descended from Jacob were converted, saved, and laid up as fruit. However, during the end of the world, this stops being the case, and actually it is these people not descended from Jacob who sort of are responsible for corrupting the gospel. Thus, the only people gathered and saved are those naturally descended from Jacob.

Per my world view, a lot of white people and native Americans probably are descendants of the lost tribes of Israel, thus providing a max population of descendants of Jacob at perhaps a billion. A billion times .2% is only 2 million. Which is crazily low, yet aligns with Isaiah 24, which describes how the earth will become empty of people during the end of the world. Here is an analogy: imagine every single person on earth died, except people living in West Virginia (population 1.7 million). Sad.

In Revelation 14 and 7, we are given an even lower population: 144,000. In my view, the 144,000 are transfigured people sent out to the world as missionaries and gatherers of Israel during the tribulation, meaning the population of saved people could be higher than 144,000. But probably not by much, as seen in these verses:

Revelation 9:20-21
20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

(Similar verses – Revelation 16:8-11)

Ultimately, I think we can still decipher a lot about how the world will end from scripture. But it remains a question to me how many will actually be saved by the preaching of the 144,000.

Disease, food shortages, and troubles

I dreamt that I was with my grandpa, and two other people – Chris and Stephen (those were their names if my memory serves me). In the dream Chris received a creepy phone call, in which he was warned that “tomorrow” would start the destructions as well as a disease.

Meanwhile, Stephen had a supernatural experience about the imminence of the end of the world – and had tried to warn a bunch of people – but everywhere he went people denied and ridiculed him. I think this spiritual experience occurred while he was hiking and received altitude sickness. He tried to be able stay at my grandpa’s house for the food storage but was denied.

I dreamt that my grandpa asked me to bring him and his friend food on huge circular trays in his office. One tray had been covered in barbeque, and the other in cake. However, when I found them, only a few tiny bites of cake were left, and no meat. I knew this would disappoint my grandpa and his friend. I think this dream represents food scarcity.

There was also this scene where I saw a model of a rotting tomato. My grandpa’s friend with the spiritual experience I think had said something about this, but my grandpa didn’t recognize the tomato as rotting. But it definitely was: it was sort of translucent and had white foam on it. So, I told my grandpa it was rotting, and that I had experiences getting sick after eating rotting tomatoes. I think the friend also had gotten sick from food poisoning as well.

This rotting I think literally represents rotting food – which could be a source of the sickness, or the food shortage, or both.

Other

I dreamt of a book in a cave which contained the gospel.

I dreamt of zombies which became aggressive after infection, though this aggressiveness didn’t happen immediately, as is often seen in the movies. Was this random?

I dreamt that you shouldn’t give to those who won’t receive with regard to some elements of the gospel.

I dreamt of people saying it was “necessary” to bring serpent to the Garden of Eden for “peace”, and then of Adam saying it was corporate business for himself to slay the serpent. There was also a larger conflict in the garden, but I forget.

I dreamt that Adam wanted us to use our dreams, but people told him that he was messing with things he didn’t understand. Knowledge was like a multi-layered cake for Adam, but people thought he shouldn’t seek it and opposed him.

I dreamt of a woman saying Adam was chosen, and then saying something about “and to think you were going to be drawn to this” whatever that means.

I dreamt of how people can’t intermingle with the stars until the day of the last judgement.

I dreamt of intermarriage between races not supposed to happen or something (does this connect to intermingling with the stars?).

I dreamt about how people talk about the problem of evil but then don’t think any one specific person can be held responsible for the good of winning the wars – and in particular, the good of winning the world wars against the Germans. I think this means: we don’t usually hold one person responsible for huge war victories, so why is it that we always try to blame one person for atrocities.

John 3:3
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 6:66
66 ¶ From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.
