Traditionally, people use data from Richard Lynn to create world IQ maps, however I don’t like Lynn because I think he has deliberately biased his data towards certain countries (source 1 and source 2). Thus, the above map is actually an aggregate map of test scores collected by the world bank which I think is a good proxy for intelligence. Since this map is produced from much broader samples, I think it is more credible.

* Also, here is a map of duration of government compulsory education – as you can see, it poorly explains variation among countries in the above graph:
